Project Engineer at Brown + Kubican Structural Engineers

Auburn Mattingly, PE, is a Project Engineer at Brown + Kubican Structural Engineers, where she has worked on numerous projects in the higher education, K-12, and defense industries. Auburn is responsible for designing and detailing building structures, performing structural analysis and design calculations, developing construction documents, and review during construction. Auburn is co-chair of the inaugural Structural Engineers Association of KY Young Member Group (SEAoK YMG) which received the national 2025 Breakout Group of the Year Award.  Auburn was named a 2024 NCSEA Young Member Award Recipient, given to approx. (18) structural engineers under the age of thirty-five nationwide.

Auburn graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science (May 2021) and Master of Science in Civil Engineering (May 2023) where she received the Otis A. Singletary Outstanding Senior Award which is given to two graduating seniors who embody leadership and have made significant contributions in academics, service, and community involvement.
